THE COMPANY
My client is a well-established bespoke housing developer who due to a large increase in their workload requires an experienced Site Manager to work on a private residential development in the Blackburn area.
THE ROLE
The project is a new build two storey apartment block consisting of 12 apartments on each floor, all valued at around £160,000 each. It is now coming towards the finishing stages of the project therefore we are looking for a strong Site Manager to see the project to completion. You will be concentrating on finishing the apartments to a high standard as well as all associated communal and external areas.
You will be reporting directly to a Contracts Manager, to ensure smooth construction process including managing of all site labour and sub-contractors, management of construction programme through to handover to the end client.
Oversee the day to day operations of the development and monitor progress
Manage to budget and complete within agreed deadlines
Manage, motivate and appraise team members
Maintaining Health and Safety
Weekly update to Contracts Manager
ABOUT YOU
As a Site Manager you will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressured environment and have proven experiences working to tight deadlines in a high specification environment. Ideally you will have previous experience working on similar bespoke new builds, however experience working for a respectable residential developer will suffice.
