MEET CARL
Carl started his career at 15, working on construction sites alongside his dad before completing a Bricklaying Apprenticeship. While he respected the trade, the British weather quickly changed his path, leading him into recruitment where he combines hands-on industry knowledge with a people-focused approach.
Carl is Director and Co-Owner of Precision Recruitment Group Ltd, leading the business from the front and remaining closely involved in day-to-day operations, business development, client delivery, and mentoring his team to consistently meet — and exceed — expectations.
With over 30 years’ experience across construction and civil engineering, Carl specialises in permanent recruitment and headhunting, while also delivering high-quality temporary staffing solutions across a wide range of construction, infrastructure, utilities, housing, and energy projects.
Carl is known for his straight-talking, relationship-led approach, built on trust, integrity, and a deep understanding of the pressures faced by both clients and candidates.
Outside of work, Carl values balance. When he’s not growing the business, he’s usually hacking his way around a golf course or cheering from the sidelines as his sons play football and rugby.
MEET BETH
Beth brings over 17 years’ experience in recruitment, specialising in temporary trades and labour across the construction sector. She began her career as an apprentice, progressing into senior recruitment roles and gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle. This experience has given Beth a comprehensive understanding of recruitment, business operations, and team leadership, supporting her role as Director and Co-Owner of the business.
Beth works closely with clients across construction, utilities, civils, highways, and major infrastructure projects, supporting everything from short-term labour requirements to long-term, large-scale programmes. Her experience gives her a strong understanding of both the commercial and operational demands of workforce delivery.
Alongside supplying skilled and compliant workers, Beth is passionate about supporting clients with their social value commitments. She actively helps create opportunities through local employment, workforce diversity, training pathways, and community engagement, ensuring recruitment delivers lasting value beyond individual placements.
Beth is known for her relationship-driven approach, built on honesty, industry knowledge, and a genuine commitment to delivering reliable workforce solutions that clients can rely on.

A ‘no suits’ policy
​Whilst we offer all of these things to make working life easier, more enjoyable and more incentivised for our team, we know that truly supportive and positive working environments are built on a much deeper foundation. Staff at Precision each have available to them five fully paid mental health days for them to take at those times when heading into an office, being sociable, and having the capability to give something your best work is just completely out of the question. It’s not acceptable for us to allow our staff to use up holidays or even sick days at those times, so this is just a small gesture to show we care, and to acknowledge the fact that we’re all human and we all experience tough times.

Given our commitment to CSR initiatives such as Andy’s Man Club, we pay each of our staff for 25 hours of volunteer time across the year to support the charity or venture of their choice.

MEET SHARON
Sharon is one of our Principal consultants within our Trades and Labour division. Starting out her recruitment career in 2007, Sharon has a wealth of construction and civil engineering knowledge and has built up a well-earned reputation for her expertise in supplying contractors and housebuilders across the UK.
Sharon’s role is mainly client-facing, servicing our existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and forming long-lasting, strong relationships built on honesty and integrity. Her honest and straight-talking approach has led to her winning a variety of key accounts over the years and successfully delivering on them. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit and healthy by going to the gym and running around after her two children.
