We are Precision Recruitment Group.

You’re in precisely the right place to find out more about us.

When it comes to recruitment, Precision may be fairly fresh on the scene, but the team we’ve built have been around the block and plying their trade for the last 20 years. To get precisely to the point, we’re a group of specialist recruiters who deal exclusively with clients and candidates in the construction industry, with a focus on trades and labour and technical appointments. As a team, we bring together knowledge and experience of working directly in the construction industry ourselves, along with a passion for people and an ability to match the top talent to the right roles. We’re the people you’ll be talking to if you’re looking for your next role in construction, or who you’ll be dealing with should your business or company need to find your next great hire, so take some time to have a look through our profiles!

MEET CARL BENNION

Carl, our Managing Director, started his early career aged 15, working out on construction sites with his Dad, before enrolling on a bricklaying apprenticeship at Reaseheath College (Cheshire) to build his trade. However, he quickly realised he wasn’t a fan of the cold, and decided that working outdoors just wasn’t for him. He went on to try his hand at sales for a few years, before eventually embarking on a successful career in recruitment. Construction still runs through Carl’s blood, and so it wasn’t long before he began to specialise his talent in that industry. He set up Precision Recruitment Group in 2021, and serves in the role of MD and Chief Brew Maker.

MEET CHRIS

Meet Chris our Labour Manager, who is one of the original engineering bricks of the business starting in 2021 when the company was formed. Having spent the last 9 years resourcing for trades and labour roles, Chris is well equipped when it comes to all thing’s candidates and compliance. One of his main strengths is building trusting relationships with candidates, which he successfully does by being honest and straight talking with them, always prepared to go the extra mile for candidates.

Talking of strength! When he is not plying his trade in our office, you will find Chris in the gym or long-distance running at the weekend. Chris ran the Manchester Marathon for our two charities in 2023 smashing his PB and raising £1,800 in the process. Not content with just that, he challenged himself further by signing up for an ultra-marathon 2024.

MEET SHARON

Sharon is one of our Principal consultants within our Trades and Labour division. Starting out her recruitment career in 2007, Sharon has a wealth of construction and civil engineering knowledge and has built up a well-earned reputation for her expertise in supplying contractors and housebuilders across the UK.

Sharon’s role is mainly client-facing, servicing our existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and forming long-lasting, strong relationships built on honesty and integrity. Her honest and straight-talking approach has led to her winning a variety of key accounts over the years and successfully delivering on them. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit and healthy by going to the gym and running around after her two children.

About Precision Recruitment Group

JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM

Precision really is a great place to work. It’s a place where we get to meet talented candidates and place them in fantastic jobs with brilliant employers. But it’s also a place where our own team reap the benefits of working for a great employer! We’d love for you to join the fun, and so here we are to tempt you with terms, rewards and benefits including:

A day off on your birthday (in addition to your 25 days annual leave and Bank Holidays, of course)

Enhanced Pension Scheme

Work-from-home flexibility, holiday trading, and childcare vouchers

Commission scheme, Employee of the Month recognition, and The PRG Awards Club

Quarterly team events and socials (and an office sweet jar and ‘mini bar’ to keep you going until the next event)

Cycle to Work scheme (although at the time of updating this list Storm Franklin is in full force)!

Free or discounted access to resources including private health cover, gym membership, eye care, mental health apps, and our ‘Fresh Fruit Office Drop’ initiative

A ‘no suits’ policy

Whilst we offer all of these things to make working life easier, more enjoyable and more incentivised for our team, we know that truly supportive and positive working environments are built on a much deeper foundation. Staff at Precision each have available to them five fully paid mental health days for them to take at those times when heading into an office, being sociable, and having the capability to give something your best work is just completely out of the question. It’s not acceptable for us to allow our staff to use up holidays or even sick days at those times, so this is just a small gesture to show we care, and to acknowledge the fact that we’re all human and we all experience tough times.

Given our commitment to CSR initiatives such as Andy’s Man Club, we pay each of our staff for 25 hours of volunteer time across the year to support the charity or venture of their choice.

Keep your eyes open for our upcoming vacancies, and make sure you’re in precisely the right place for your career.
