THE COMPANY
Owing to continues success and growth, a Manchester-based building consultancy is looking for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join them. Specialising within the public and private sector, they are a private practice with a large pipeline of continued work secured.
THE ROLE
You will be based in their Manchester office, working with a wide range of clients, and managing their property portfolios, projects, and transactions. You will be responsible for providing advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of buildings. The role will cover the full range of traditional Building Surveying services within a variety of sectors including: education, healthcare, heritage, retail, leisure, industrial, custodial and the commercial sectors.
ABOUT YOU
BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or equivalent construction-related qualification
Qualified to MRICS; AssocRICS; MCIOB or CBuildE)
Knowledge of health and safety and building regulations
You must have skills to develop and maintain existing business and client relationships
Strong IT skills and as a minimum (AutoCAD, Outlook, Microsoft, NBS, MS Project,)
Well-developed skills in the areas of surveys, dilapidations, repairs, maintenance, and contract administration
Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute
Good technical writing and communication skills (both internal and external)
Friendly and approachable
Full Driving License
