THE COMPANY
Our client is a respected regional construction contractor delivering refurbishment projects across the North West, including Greater Manchester, and Lancashire. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This is a great opportunity for someone at graduate, intermediate, or junior level to develop their career in quantity surveying.
THE ROLE
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support the commercial delivery of a range of refurbishment projects. Working alongside an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor, a Site Manager, and another Assistant QS, you’ll assist with small works packages, measurements, procurement tasks, and general commercial duties on live construction sites.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone driven, detail-oriented, and eager to progress in a dynamic construction environment.
At least 6 months’ experience in a similar role (Graduate, Junior, or Assistant QS)
Experience in main contracting, refurbishment, or residential construction
A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (HNC/HND/Degree preferred but not essential)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A proactive, self-motivated attitude and strong use of initiative
Willingness to work on projects across the North West region
