Precision Recruitment Group are extremely proud to support Andy’s Man Club as one of their chosen charities.
Andy’s Man Club is a Men’s Mental Health Charity that supports, empowers, and gives men the opportunity to talk about things that are affecting their mental health and wellbeing. The Club started out in Halifax and it’s since grown into a national venture with over 100 clubs nationwide, and will continue to grow across the UK. The sessions are on Monday nights and are free to attend, and really work to challenge the stigma around men’s mental health. Monday nights are open to all who can benefit from the power of opening up and talking in a safe space.
Carl Bennion, Director of Precision Recruitment Group said, “In addition to supporting Mental Health in our own workplace and to the candidates we supply, we wanted to reach out further and support men to talk openly, freely and easily about their mental health problems.
Construction workers have a variety of pressures from working long hours, time away from family, not to mention the added stresses of the pandemic and now the rising costs of bills. Additionally, within construction lies a "macho" culture which prevents many workers from seeking support and help when they may need it, putting further stress on their own mental health and wellbeing. Whatever the cause, there is help available to keep people safe.
We are really excited about supporting Andy’s Man Club, and want to encourage men to talk openly about their mental health problems, seek help and where possible to support other men, friends, and family.”
