THE COMPANY
My client is a well-established housing developer who is based in the North-West area. They have established a reputation for excellent quality and outstanding customer service, resulting in them becoming one of the most trusted brands in the North West.
Due to a large increase in workload, they have an immediate start for an experienced Assistant Site Manager on a short-term basis.
THE ROLE
As the Assistant Site Manger your main duties will be to manage the finishing aspects of the houses, snagging, organising sub-contractors to carry out the works to a high standard.
Work alongside Site Manager & Site Team
Responsible for ensuring that trades and subcontractors complete works to a high standard to completion
Prepare necessary snag lists
Delegating/Managing trades and sub-contractors
Maintaining and promoting Health & Safety and environmental standards (EQS)
Liaise with other department managers and other members of the construction team
Reporting to the Site Manager on Health & Safety, site logistics, progression of work
ABOUT YOU
As an Assistant Site Manager you will ideally come from a trade’s background and have a minimum 3 years experience carrying out a similar role.
You will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressured environment and have proven experience working to tight deadlines.
Proven track record working for a leading house build developer
Eye for detail
Experience of managing Sub-Contractors
Have excellent customer and business communication skills
SMSTS 5 Day Health & Safety or SSSTS
CSCS Supervisor Card
First Aid At Work

For your skills and experience they can offer an hourly rate of £23.50ph working Monday to Thursday 07.30 – 16.30 Friday 15.30. There is also the odd Saturday working half day paid the full shift.
