THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading social housing and maintenance contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Site Manager with Social Housing experience. As a company they are heavily focused on supporting and developing their staff, ensuring personal development within their workforce whilst supporting the local community.
THE ROLE
The project consists of the external refurbishment of a tower block including EWI replacement, windows & doors, balcony treatments, roofing and structural repairs.
Reporting directly to a Site Manager, you will assist him with the smooth construction process including managing of all site labour and sub-contractors, management of the scheme through to handover to the end client.
Reporting into the Site Manager on site
Updating and maintaining site diary
Managing Sub-Contractors
Site Inductions
Organise and control labour and sub-contractors
Health and Safety – induction of new employees and frequent inspection of all operations
Communicate the values and culture of the company
ABOUT YOU
As an Assistant Site Manager you will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressured environment. You must have previous experience working on similar social housing schemes, ideally external HIGH RISE refurbishment.
SMSTS or SSSTS / CSCS Card / First Aid
First aid qualified
CSCS card holder at Manager/Supervisor level
Must have Social Housing experience
Strong leadership, management skills and ability to communicate at all levels
IT proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and basic programming skills
A sound working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements

For your skills and experience they can offer an excellent salary between £35,000 - £38,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits.
